Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam 2016
Ho Chi Minh is a vibrant city that keeps it’s traditional cultures up to today. It is evident in their day to day lives. The architecture in the city is a mesh of old and new that is why many foreigners are drawn to exploring the city.
It is my first time in Vietnam and I stayed at this little Hostel called Long Hostel, It’s located in Pham Ngu Lao Street, District 1 or popularly known as the “Backpacker District”. Its really recommended, it change the way I look at Hostels in general and living with other travellers. The owner of the hostel is very accommodating and very very helpful. The free breakfast is delicious and of course the most loved Vietnamese Coffee.
Let me show you around Saigon.
This is the park near the “backpacker district” it’s huge and most of the locals just hang around here in the morning. you can always see the traditional hat everywhere, which is really cool.
Vietnam is a motorbike heaven, This is the main transportation in the city and when it’s rush hour you will see a gazillion of them.
You can see a lot of people eating in the sidewalk. This is pretty much their culture. There are a lot of Themed Cafes too and Street Food is all around the city. It’s a must try.
